Specialist for implementation of transmission systems

What is your role about?

• Participate in the development of mechanical gearboxes and shift covers for Škoda vehicles.
• Contribute to the implementation of platform parts, including manual and automatic transmissions, front and rear differentials, clutches, dual mass flywheels (DMF), joint and drive shafts, and external shifters into Škoda cars.
• Be responsible for the design, testing, and implementation of these components in Škoda vehicles.
• Collaborate with a team of developers and engineers on innovative solutions and technologies.
• Conduct analysis and optimization of mechanical systems and components.
• Develop technical documentation and specifications for new and existing projects.
• Participate in internal and external meetings with suppliers and partners.
• Monitor and implement the latest trends and technologies in the field of mechanical gearboxes and shifting.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards and regulations.
• Support production teams in introducing new products into mass production.
• Perform testing and verification of functionality and reliability of developed systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and products.

What do you need to know and have?

• Completed university education in a technical field.
• Proficiency in English (level B2) or German (level B2) for daily communication with international colleagues and suppliers; some of our internal meetings are also conducted in English/German.
• Professional experience: 3-5 years in the field.
