Cloud Platform Engineer (m/w)

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will continuously develop, deploy and maintain Cloud features & services using a Cloud-native way of working: with mature software development methodologies, Continuous Integration/Continuous Development, Modern Service Management, DevOps and in an Agile way. This is done while staying on top of relevant developments and needs within and outside of the organization as well as modern Cloud organization principles. This enables value creation for business owners by leveraging the continuous delivery and improvement of Cloud services. This approach and way of working within the ACC requires employees to have a broad knowledge of IT and specific competences aimed at continuous change, rapid adoption of new technologies and tools as well as continuous improvement of the way of working itself.

 

What is your role about?

  • Analyzing the needs, determining the solution direction, assessing consequences, creating specifications and design of the IT solution to be developed
  • Creating detailed designs. Applying various analyses and models. Designing dialogues, databases, files, subsystems and programs.
  • Programming and creating components and (test) environments
  • Planning and/or executing test processes
  • Introducing new employees to their job, giving explanations, coaching, transferring knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to continuous adoption and improvement of Cloud services and technologies
  • Part of a multidisciplinary DevOps team which takes ownership of both new development and operational activities
  • Continuous focus on value creation in the adoption and utilization of secure Cloud services
  • Position is part of VWG Group IT Delivery Services.

 

What are our requirements? 

  • Higher education
  • Czech - level B2 (upper intermediate level)
  • English – level B1 (intermediate level)
  • Professional experience: 1-2 years
