Cloud Analyst and Reporting Specialist (m/w)

As an Azure Monitoring Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing monitoring solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. Your role involves ensuring the availability, performance, and security of Azure-based applications and infrastructure through the configuration and optimization of monitoring tools. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain a robust and reliable cloud environment.

 

What is your role about? 

  • Design, implement, and manage Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics solutions to monitor cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
  • Configure and deploy monitoring agents and instrumentation for various Azure services.
  • Define and configure alerting rules and thresholds to detect and notify on performance and availability issues.
  • Establish effective notification systems to ensure timely response to incidents.
  • Collect, analyze, and manage logs from Azure resources to gain insights into system behavior and troubleshoot issues.
  • Implement log retention and archiving strategies in compliance with organizational requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify and address bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize resource utilization.
  • Participate in incident response activities, investigate root causes of incidents, and provide recommendations for resolution and prevention.
  • Work closely with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues affecting Azure services.
  • Implement security monitoring and threat detection solutions to identify and respond to security incidents.
  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
  • Develop scripts and automation workflows to streamline monitoring configuration and management processes.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for monitoring solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of monitoring configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Provide training to IT teams on effective monitoring practices and tools

 

What are our requirements? 

  • Higher education
  • Czech - level B2 (upper intermediate level)
  • English – level B1 (intermediate level)
  • Professional experience: 1-2 years
